Do you remember, we were sittin' there, by the water?

I'm a mega Taylor Swift fan! I just love her! I feel like every single song is so well written and truly reaches the heart and mind of her audience. I also like that it is nothing too serious because I can always listen to it no matter the mood that I am in. Her next album, Speak Now, is coming out soon and I'm so excited! Her first single, "Mine" was released on August 16th, but the music video was released on last Friday. It was incredible! I loved it! What's you take on it? Here's the link! Still can't figure out how to upload the video. Hopefully with starting this blog I'll advance my unknown skills in this world of technology.

You are the best thing, that's ever been mine

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! I loved the boat scenes! Just wish the boyfriend/husband/interest didn't have a tatoo...that's always a let down for me. Otherwise, in my opinion, the best of her's but tied with You Belong With Me.

AMAZING... I'm obsessed with the boat scenes. The hanging pictures from trees are adorable. Oh, and I hate tatoos too.. Why do people get them? I just never understood..

The Crew

Surfer Sister-aka my best friend on the planet! She may be younger than me, but we are practically twins. We look the same age, she acts my age (in a good way), and we have the same friends. She has the cutes Anthropologie-inspired style and will probably be mentioned in most of my posts!

Beachy Mama-aka my mom (betcha didn't guess that one!) She's an interior designer with more creativity than Better Homes and Gardens. She's also the one whose been influencing us to spend our days on the beach from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Captain Dad-aka my dad (another stumper!) He is the one who started me in sailing and pushed me to always stick it out, no matter how many times I flipped my little boat. We are so close and I don't know what I would do without him.

Lilly Lover-aka my best friend. At this point, she's a member of the family. We met when we were 5 years old at our yacht club and have been best friends ever since. She is my preppiest friend and the only person who tolerates my constant addiction to planning out everything.

Skim/Swim Sweetie-my other best friend. She's the epitome of a beach girl and we spend most of our time together in the car, just driving to school, which is how we became so close.

Fashion Friend-My go to girl when it comes to fashion, college, and basically anything. Her fashion sense will be noted very often, because she knows more about style than most college students in fashion because she's grown up in it. She is the kindest person ever and never ceases to surprise me.
