My first day was a few days ago and it ended up going really well! I have a college system in my school, so I take 4 classes a half, and there are a total of 8 classes. I know I want to major in International Business and minor in English and/or Spanish, so I took classes that would get me there, plus others that I thought would be interesting and cover my credits for certain subjects. (aka: AP Chem) I ended up getting all teachers that I really enjoy, so I couldn't be happier! Unfortunately, all of these classes involved tons and tons of study time, along with oodles of homework. Hopefully, by the end of this year or next year, I'll be rewarded for all the hard work.
This year will certainly be busy, but with my Lilly Pulitzer Agenda by my side, I'll be good to go. Plus, I'm an upperclassmen now, but I'm not the let's-pick-on-the-freshmen type. Well, I'm also shorter than most of the freshmen, so that may not go over well.
But now, its back to books, and back to uniforms. Here's my school look.
-navy blue polo
-navy cableknit style knee socks
-navy blue and white plaid uniform skirt
-black Sperry Top Siders
-pearl earrings
-Tiffany and Co. Anchor Pendant Necklace
-J Crew headband
-Vera Bradley lanyard
-L.L. Bean Pink backpack
-Lilly Pulitzer Agenda
May the wind be with you,

Good luck! We both have the first day of school, and I'm actually kind of nervous. Ugh, uniforms, they're just a hassle. Have fun!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun! My uniform was actually kind of cute. And I kind of miss it on days when I wake up late for class and actually have to make an effort.
ReplyDeleteWe had such stringent uniform requirements and weren't allowed to wear anything beyond the colorways of the dark green and navy plaid jumper. Don't you love your Lilly agenda?
ReplyDeleteGood luck this year in school. It's true that it's an important one. (I do alum admissions interviews.) You'll do well, I'm sure.
I so remember the days of my Junior year. It was fun, but it was also all the things you mentioned above. Good Luck, and yes it WILL pay off!!
