Work and Waves

With junior year comes more homework than I possibly could ever have imagined! All I do all night is homework! I don't want to look like I am a hobbit, so I now I go to the beach to do my homework. I bring my beach chair, and weirdly enough, I get internet! One of the ocean fronts on our street actually has wifi that I can connect to! So, I sit there until it is dark, doing my homework, getting my tan onnnnn. Does it get better than that?

How wonderful for you! I am soooo jealous. Here in Ohio it is starting to "look" like Fall. Thank goodness I have a beach trip planned for October...one last hooorah before....gulp....WINTER! Someday I too will live at the beach forever! :) Happy studying!

The Crew

Surfer Sister-aka my best friend on the planet! She may be younger than me, but we are practically twins. We look the same age, she acts my age (in a good way), and we have the same friends. She has the cutes Anthropologie-inspired style and will probably be mentioned in most of my posts!

Beachy Mama-aka my mom (betcha didn't guess that one!) She's an interior designer with more creativity than Better Homes and Gardens. She's also the one whose been influencing us to spend our days on the beach from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Captain Dad-aka my dad (another stumper!) He is the one who started me in sailing and pushed me to always stick it out, no matter how many times I flipped my little boat. We are so close and I don't know what I would do without him.

Lilly Lover-aka my best friend. At this point, she's a member of the family. We met when we were 5 years old at our yacht club and have been best friends ever since. She is my preppiest friend and the only person who tolerates my constant addiction to planning out everything.

Skim/Swim Sweetie-my other best friend. She's the epitome of a beach girl and we spend most of our time together in the car, just driving to school, which is how we became so close.

Fashion Friend-My go to girl when it comes to fashion, college, and basically anything. Her fashion sense will be noted very often, because she knows more about style than most college students in fashion because she's grown up in it. She is the kindest person ever and never ceases to surprise me.
