Arm Art

Wearing a uniform can be a major dilemma. Why? Well, for one thing, we wear black shoes with navy socks. This is a major problem for me. There's just something about wearing navy and black together that disturbs me to another level. My preppy friend always had the most adorable style on the planet. Seriously. I legitimately emulated her when we were still wearing jumpers in grade school.

When we would bond over our love for Lilly, madras, and anything preppy, we would always go to our favorite boutiques throughout my favorite place in the world, New England. One store in Newport that we both adored was Angela Moore. There was a major sale once a year and we stalked up on Christmas gifts, along with just personal "needs." (trust me, these were needs)

It was there we would find our jewelry for the year to make our uniform look somewhat stylish. Angela Moore jewelry is absolutely adorable in every way. They are mainly these painted small ball shaped beads in all different prints. From Christmas trees to tennis rackets, sailboats to starfish, and cupcakes to crabs, there was a piece for everything! We mainly bought the bracelets because you could stack usually three on your wrist at a time or wear them with other jewelry pieces. There were also pony tail holders, earrings, pendants, and watches. Now that its summer, they go perfectly with anything, whether you are getting dressed up in a solid print dress or are trying to jazz up shorts and a polo. During the winter, they look adorable with solid colored sweaters or with black holiday dresses. They are definitely a must have for any prep girl!
