Message in a Bottle

Writing e-mails is quick. Texting is even quicker. Facebook messages are easy to write. However, there is nothing like getting a letter in the mail. I want to start writing more letters because I really think it has an effect on the recipient in a way much greater than any email.

These Vera Bradley cards are just so cute! I love their prints and these have a young look to them so I don't feel too weird with them.

Lilly stationary! Such cute colors, plus the beachy design on them is perfect for the types of thank you letters I write.

You just can't not like these. Lilly shifts are just so classic and I would love to open one of these!

As pretty obvious in some of my other posts, I'm a huge fan of vineyard vines. 

These cards are just perfect! I love the color and the whales are adorable.

Gangplank Gossip

You always know when Gossip Girl is on because walking down my hallway, there are at least 8 conversations going on, recapping last night's episode. I love watching it just because you really don't know what is coming next. Plus, the outfits are amazing and Chase Crawford is GORGEOUS!

And last but not least.....

Nothing better than a boy in a blazer and Griffendor colors!

Fall Breezes

I just love fall! Here's my compressed list of fall favorites:

The chilly breeze that hits your face while you are sailing. With all of your dry gear on, the apples of your cheeks are about all you have visible. Plus, we go on our favorite trips now. We have been to Norfolk, New England, and Maryland!

Walking through the quad at my school and seeing  all of the beautiful leaves in different colors!

Fall Favorites by The Sailor in Pink 

Riding boots, crew neck cable knits, Uggs, cashmere scarves, cords, rain boots, pea coats, fleeces and sweater dresses! 

Reading under an autumn tree with gloves on. There's nothing like feeling completely relaxed!

Sitting on the couch with Surfer sister and watching all the new seasons like Glee, Gossip Girl, Biggest Loser, and Parenthood!

The scents of fall! I just love when I come home to the smell of pumpkin cookies in the oven and I love taking a shower and smelling a burning pumpkin candle in our bathroom.

And of course, spending time with family during Thanksgiving and Halloween!
